Streetworks derives its name from a ministry I was a part of several years ago. When a few of us left and it began to fall apart, we called ourselves the Streetworks Outcast Ministry. The idea was to minister to outcasts, including those that had been cast out of the original ministry of Streetworks.

All of that may be irrelevant other than to say, as believers we really are called to minister to the outcasts, including those that do not feel they belong to an organized and well-established formal church.

The church, is more a community of believers, whether tied together in a local house of worship, or in a chat room on the Internet.
