Katrina is so huge, I haven’t processed it all yet, but one of the first thoughts I had was, “Is this a judgement from God?” I’ve heard of the “godlessness” that exhibited at least yearly in New Orleans, and in some areas, daily.
Yes, I believe God does judge. But, this time, I believe I missed the link. You see, the last few weeks, Israel residents have been forced from their home on the west bank. I believe this attack on Israel is a signficant cause of Katrina. I’ve always believed the presence of Israel was divine, and that anyone that fights against Israel is fighting against God. It wasn’t until I read this article that I linked the two.
It’s not an isolated event. The survival and triumph of Israel will be the penultimate event in this world, and I don’t believe it will be limited to present day Israel. One of the cries of King David’s day was “Dan to Beersheba”, and that may be prophetic as well. In order for that to happen, some major nations in Israel will have to vanish. I believe they will. Not because of any war on terrorism, but because God has made it happen.
