I started working in a print shop while I was in college, and have been doing it for, let's say, many years, since then.

I won't go into it much now; my resume is on-line if you're interested, but I've operated a wide variety of printing equipment, from letterpress to offset, from hand-set type through a wide range of type systems to today's computers and InDesign, and all the other operations in between.

In various ways, they keep saying computers and copiers are going to make printing obsolete, but at the current rate it looks like it'll be around for at least 10 more years. :)
